Foamglas Cellular Glass Insulation

New higher performance Foamglas
FOAMGLAS cellular glass slabs and boards is a load bearing insulation, produced without any addition of binders. It is made from recycled glass (mostly vehicle windscreens), from sand, dolomite, and lime. The insulation elements consist of cellular glass with a closed cell structure. Production is free of harmful blowing agents. The material’s high compressive strength (without creep or deformation) and resistance to water and water vapour make it a good substitute for EPS, which contains the brominated flame retardant HBCD and is usually produced with HFC blowing agents that have a high global warming potential.
