Description
PC® 58
A two-component modified bitumen based cold adhesive without solvents.
It is used as an adhesive and as a coating. In terms of consistency PC® 58 is comparable to traditional hot bitumen; After complete drying, the adhesive is flexible and resistant to numerous salty solutions, water and weak acids. PC® 58 is used to apply FOAMGLAS® slabs to horizontal concrete and porous concrete surfaces. It is also used to coat the surface of FOAMGLAS® slabs; prior to the application of bitumen based torch-on or self-adhesive membranes.

Working temperature (air + base surface): +5 °C to +35 °C
Mixing ratio: 24 kg black component + 8 kg powder component (batch supplies the correct proportional quantities)
Installation: The base surface should be clean, dry and free of dust and oil. Working time: At 20 °C: about 90 minutes.
Curing time: 1 to 3 days
Storage*: See label for expiration date.
Store dry in well-closed containers. Protect against frost, heat and direct sun exposure.
Consumption: Complete bonding, about 5.0 to 7.0 kg/m2. Surfacer about 2.0 kg/m2.
