Description
PC® 56
A solvent-free two part – component adhesive. Component 1 is a bitumen based emulsion and the second component is a powder.
Mixing ratio by weight: 3 parts of component A, 1 part of component B.
PC® 56 is used for adhering FOAMGLAS® slabs to concrete or masonry, bonding two layers of FOAMGLAS® slabs together or as a surface coating on FOAMGLAS® slabs.

Application: Bonding of FOAMGLAS® slabs / boards to absorbent surfaces. Adhesion of FOAMGLAS® slabs to each other. Surfacer.

Solvents: None
Mixing ration: Fluid / Powder 3 : 1 by weight. The batch supplies the correct proportional quantities of the two components which should be stirred with a power drill and a mixing paddle to a homogeneous adhesive compound until smooth.
Working temperature (air + base surface) : +5 °C to +35 °C
Installation: The base surface should be clean and free of dust, it can be dry or wet. The adhesive is applied to the FOAMGLAS® elements to be bonded using a notched trowel (depth of notches 8 – 10 mm). Working time: At +20 °C about 90 minutes.
Curing time: Several days (1 – 3 days, depending on temperature, humidity and base surface).
Storage*: See label for expiration date.
Store dry in well-closed containers. Protect against frost, heat and direct sun exposure.
Consumption: Complete bonding with filled joints, about 3.5 – 4.5 kg/m2 depending on base surface. Packed in 28kg tubs.
