Ground-Air Heat Exchangers

Ground-air heat exchangers (also known as earth tubes) offer an innovative method of heating and cooling a building. They can used on Passivhaus buildings when linked to the MVHR. Ventilation air is warmed in the winter and cooled in the summer as it is drawn through the under ground pipes. AWADUKT Thermo pipework was specifically designed for this application. It is lined with an integrated antimicrobial silver layer.
